1. It is not advisable to use high-power thyristor load, thyristor bridge rectifier or half-wave rectifier type load at the output end of the UPS power supply. Such loads may easily cause the final drive transistor of the inverter to be burned.


2. The installation environment of the UPS power supply should avoid direct sunlight, and leave enough ventilation space to keep the temperature of the working environment not higher than 25 ℃. If the working environment temperature exceeds 25°C, the life of the battery will be shortened by about half for every 10°C increase in temperature rise.


3. UPS power supply is more suitable for micro-capacitive loads, not suitable for inductive loads, such as air conditioners, motors, electric drills, fans, etc. If the UPS power load is a resistive or inductive load, the load must be reduced as appropriate to avoid overload operation.


4. Operate in strict accordance with the correct order of startup and shutdown to avoid large fluctuations in the voltage output of the UPS power supply when the load suddenly increases or decreases, so that the UPS power supply cannot work normally.


5. It is forbidden to turn off and on the UPS power frequently. It is generally required to wait at least 30 seconds before turning on the UPS power after turning off the UPS power. The reason for the high failure rate of small and medium-sized UPS power supply is: the user frequently starts or shuts down the UPS power supply with load for the switching period of inverter power supply and bypass power supply.


6. Practice has proved that for most UPS power supplies, it is the best way to control the load within the range of 50% to 60% of the rated output power. Overload use is prohibited. The manufacturer recommends that the maximum starting load of the UPS power supply should be controlled within 80%. If it is overloaded, the inverter transistor will often be broken down in the inverter state. Excessive light load operation is not suitable. In this case, it is easy to cause the battery to fail because the battery discharge current is too small.


7. Regularly maintain the UPS power supply: observe the status of the work indicator, remove dust, measure the battery voltage, replace the unqualified battery, check the operation of the fan, and detect and adjust the system parameters of the UPS.
